The Davis/Phillips Endowment Scholarship was established in 2001 by members of the Davis and Phillips families with Oakland City University in Oakland City, Indiana to honor and memorialize the lives of their parents Richard & Margaret Davis and Kenneth & Sophia Phillips. Although not having the opportunity to attend a University and receive a formal college education, the Davis’ and Phillips’ were actively involved in assisting both friends and family members in the opportunity to pursue intellectual and spiritual growth within their own lives.

The establishment of the Davis/Phillips Endowment Scholarship will continue the care and consideration shown to young people by the Davis and Phillips families.
